Start with the commodity, variety and destination market. Share the size range, visual grade, maturity preferences and any buyer specifications so the supply plan can be discussed clearly. Confirm the required quantity and preferred packing format together. Net weight, carton dimensions, labels and pallet arrangements all affect how an order is prepared and loaded. Share the intended delivery window and the destination port early. Harvest availability, preparation time and transport arrangements should be coordinated around the needs of the product and the order. PANDA can discuss fresh vegetables and fruit, grading, customized packing and export documentation. Send your requirements through our inquiry form to begin the conversation.

Agreeing Produce Quality Before Shipment

Turn general expectations into a practical specification for grading, inspection and packing.

Quality starts with an agreed product specification. For fresh produce, buyers and suppliers should discuss variety, size, maturity, colour and appearance, along with any agreed tolerances. Explain how the product will be sold and handled at the destination. A wholesale buyer and a retail programme may need different size ranges, pack formats and label information. Discuss inspection arrangements before preparation begins. Product checks, residue testing requirements and export documents should be coordinated around the commodity, destination and buyer requirements. Keep the approved specification with the order records. Clear references help the sourcing, grading, packing and dispatch teams work toward the same expectations.

Consider the produce, handling process, destination market and buyer branding together when specifying a pack.

Begin with the product and how it will move through the supply chain. Mesh bags, cartons, liners, protective trays and crates each serve different handling needs. The final format should be agreed for the commodity and shipment. Confirm pack dimensions and net weight, then discuss ventilation and protection. Pallet dimensions, wrapping and stacking should also be specified when the load will be palletized. Prepare the label brief early. Share the required language, brand artwork, barcode and shipping marks, together with any buyer or destination information that must appear on the pack. Before production, review the final packing specification with the supplier. PANDA supports customized cartons, packaging and labels, and can coordinate packing details with the export plan.
